Join us this January as we indulge in a weekend of delicious local produce, relaxation, full-body movement and meditation.
The weekend will see you move through some vibrant vinyasa, juicy yin, invigorating pilates and stillness in meditation, with plenty of time to explore the coastal walk, have a swim or read and relax.

Your Itinerary

Friday, January 24th 2020

6.00pm Landing: Park up, check in, switch off and slip into something a little more comfortable.
7.00pm Dive In: Let go of the day with this rejuvenating restorative class followed by a guided tour of your body, point by point, through yoga nidra.
9.00pm Dine Well: Join us for a bite to eat before retiring to bed.

Saturday, January 25th 2020

9.00am Deep Rinse: A short meditation to begin, then twist and detoxify in a dynamic morning yoga practice with Ciara.
11.00am Kickstart: Slide up to the table for a bountiful brunch.
12.00pm Get Windswept: We are off on a stunning cliff walk. Or take the time to chill, read, sleep or swim.
2.00pm Warm Up: Grab a hot bowl of soup or chowder with some fresh homemade bread. 3.00pm Oh My Core: Discover muscles you didn’t know existed with Charlotte.
5.30pm Bliss Out: Tune in to the inner workings of yourself in a spacious yin experience with Ciara.
8pm Feast: “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” Virginia Woolf.

Sunday, January 26th 2020

8.30am Mindful Movement: A short meditation to begin and then shake it up in a final yoga practice before you hit the road.
10.00am Mini Brekkie: Coffee, juice, fresh fruit and a selection of homemade pastries – to give you energy for what’s to come!
11.00am Oh My Arms: Grab your weights, pump your guns, legs and glutes in this reformer- style class with Charlotte.
2.00pm Depart: Have a late check out at 2pm and leave rested and refreshed.


The Strand Inn is located just two hours south of Dublin and 20 minutes from Waterford City.

You will stay in coastal inspired and uniquely decorated bedrooms and our yoga and pilates studio is located right beside the hotel.

Breakfast and dinner will be served in the stunning dining room overlooking the sea.

Charlotte & Ciara

Ciara Fanning

Ciara fell in love with yoga when she moved to Australia in 2010. She has been teaching yoga for five years and has completed her 350 hour training. Ciara has trained under some of the most renowned teachers across Australia and the United States including Duncan Peak, Mel McLaughlin, Noelle Connolly and Annie Carpenter.

Ciara specialises in teaching dynamic vinyasa that will keep you moving and sweating, spacious yin classes and restorative yoga with yoga nidra.

Charlotte Hughes

Charlotte has been teaching Pilates for 14 years, having first discovered the benefits pre and post back surgery. She has completed her Pilates mat and reformer training with Joyce Gavin and went on to train in BarreConcept with Emma Newham.

Charlotte’s classes cater for all levels and she strictly applies the pure Pilates method, with form and technique being the most important elements to her classes. She ensures you will finish her class feeling stronger, longer and leaner.
