ABOUT DUNMORE EAST

Dunmore east is a picturesque fishing village, known for its pretty thatched cottages and safe sandy beaches. Local history sites include the 12 century norman castle and the church of st andrew built in 1815. above the village is a lovley wooded park with beautiful walks. There is also an EU blueflag protected beach, which is an ideal spot for swimming.

The Harbour is popular for boating ang sailing and there is also an adventue centre which offers land and water based activities which is a fun way to explore the coast.Golfers may play the the 18 hole seaside course in dunmore east which has spectacular view up the estuary. There are some great restaurants and couple of good pubs which offer great food and a bit of craic..
